Under Fire  By Lynn H Blackburn Under Fire is the third book in the Defend And Protect series and it does not disappoint at all.  We get to see Special Agent Zane Thacker  and Tessa Reed face down danger and romance, along with several glimpses of characters from the first two books in the series. I love that this book touches on the struggle with alcohol that our heroine Tessa dealt with and the healing that she walked thru. Also how the hero Zane  had to work thru some issues with his feelings for Tessa. Will Zane be able to stand by Tessa and still do the job of protecting the president from the threats of danger? I was provided a complimentary copy of this book the publisher and did not receive anything in return  for  my honest opinion of the book. From how to change the tire to applying for a job, this book has 100 skills that help to thrive i n life.  Growing up I would have loved to have had a book like this to guide me thru the skills that I never was taught. Even now as an adult, I will be using this book to guide me to learn new skills, maybe even get a dream job. I will also be sharing this book with young women in my life as they seek to conquering life. As a mentor of young women myself, I have ran into moments where I did not know how to teach certain skills, ones that I did not know. It is written in two very different time periods that at the same time connect thru the struggles that face each of the female characters. We meet Annie David in 2015 and Liberty Caldwell in 1770, both living in Boston in two different time periods.  Still dealing with the aftermath of the Boston Masscare, Anne is struggling to find healing in her life.
