Under Fire  By Lynn H Blackburn Under Fire is the third book in the Defend And Protect series and it does not disappoint at all.  We get to see Special Agent Zane Thacker  and Tessa Reed face down danger and romance, along with several glimpses of characters from the first two books in the series. I love that this book touches on the struggle with alcohol that our heroine Tessa dealt with and the healing that she walked thru. Also how the hero Zane  had to work thru some issues with his feelings for Tessa. Will Zane be able to stand by Tessa and still do the job of protecting the president from the threats of danger? I was provided a complimentary copy of this book the publisher and did not receive anything in return  for  my honest opinion of the book. The One True Love of Alice Ann  by Eva Marie Everson This is the first book I have read by Eva Marie Everson, the thing that drew me to the book was the story line based during WWII. When I picked up the book and started to read it, I was drawn in to the story about a young girl during a time that was in a upheaval. I went thru a time period where like Alice Ann, I had a crush on a guy who had no interest in me. As the story progresses Alice Ann corresponds with her elder brothers friend Mack, that has been shipped overseas to fight the war. Letter writing was one of the ways to share news from home to the guys on the war front during that time period. Which compared to now days we have email, social media, cell phones, where we can just share news at the drop of a hat. The boys on the war front loved getting mail and packages from back home. In this story the letters that passed between Alice Ann and these two young men shared so much news of life on the front and at home...

One of my struggles in my marriage is not having control over things, I let myself get angry over things that I should let go of. It has taken me a long time to get to a place where I know take a deep breath and think before I speak. I did not realize I had done this till the other day my dear hubby told me he had taken money out of the account without telling me.
