 The title to this book is so correct, I could not put this book down!!! Every page I turned just made me want to keep reading on to the end. Patricia  Bradley creates a storyline that keeps you wanting to know what is going to happen next. This is a must read for anyone is who loves suspense. 

In the 2nd installment to the Natchez Trace Park Rangers, Emma Winters is in her own element working on a historical site in the park. But what she did not count on was seeing her ex-fiancé Sam Ryker again. One night after Emma was finishing up for the day and getting ready to leave for the night, when danger find her at the park. The one person she can trust in a situation like this is Sam, who has returned as a Natchez Trace Law Enforcement district ranger. 

Sam Ryker has returned to Natchez Trace to be near his sister and her son, but along comes all the memories of the past. The one woman he loved is back in his life and now he has to figure out everything. When Sam gets a call for shots fired at the park, he did not think he would find Emma in danger. To complicate things more someone has grown  an attachment to Emma and has been leaving gifts at her door. But to this person, Sam has become a roadblock in their path to a life with Emma. For Sam he see's this as a way to turn things around with him and Emma. 


Can Emma forgive Sam for the things he had done in the past? Will Sam be able to keep Emma from the danger that is after her?
