A beautiful story for faith believers!!

Wings of the Wind (Out From Egypt Book #3) by [Cossette, Connilyn]

Wings of the Wind

by Connilyn Cossette

The sequel to the Out From  Egypt  is Wings of the Wind, just like the first two books we are introduced to some very amazing characters. Several characters from the first two books have a part in this book, along with meeting Tobiah and Alanah. The dedication and love of Tobiah is very touching to the heart. A man who would choose to take a stranger as a wife,  to provide protection for her from the dangers around them. Alanah is very strong and determined woman who has never seen what true love looks like in her life. Raised in a household full of men, with not knowing a touch of a woman since she was a little girl. Two very different characters that meet in a very dangerous situation and overcome many obstacles in their path to love.

I love reading biblical fiction, Connilyn Cossette takes a fresh look into the bible stories of our childhoods. As I was reading this book, I delighted in learning more about the history of that time period. The characters win your heart from the first time you meet them on the page to the end of the book. It is hard to let go of the series when it ends at the end of this book. The twists and turns of the story line kept me plunging forward till the end of the book. It is as mix of suspense and romance that makes a very good book to read.

We find the Hebrews wandering in the desert near the land of Canaan. We meet a very brave Canaanite woman Alanah, whom lost her father and brothers in battle with the Hebrews. Choosing to avenge the deaths of her family, she disguises herself and sneaks out to battle.

Tobiah, a devoted Hebrew warrior has devoted his life to protecting his people. When he finds a unconscious woman on the battlefield among the dead. The only thing he knows is to find help for her and protect her from the dangers around them.

The turn of events throws both Tobiah and Alanah together as a married couple. Alanah does not want anything to do with living with the ones who killed her family. But her injuries force her to stay where she is under the protection of Tobiah as her husband.  As their time together passes Alanah sees a different side to her husband and the ways of his people. When danger presents itself causing possible harm to a loved one, Alanah makes a hard choice to protect them. Will Alanah and Tobaih be able to find each other? Also will they choose to stay as husband and wife?

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to read biblical fiction!!
