The second book in the Nikki Boyd series, Missing follows Missing Persons Special Task Force agent Nikki Boyd. Usually Nikki does not investigate homicide cases, but this homicide case also has a missing person connected to the deceased. When a desperate phone call and several clues lead the team to a very grisly discovery on a boat owned by one of Nikki's dear friend Tyler Grant.  

 Still recovering from the untimely loss of his wife and emerging into the role of a single parent; Tyler has depended on Nikki for the past year of his life as a widower. Their relationship has been complicated, being Nikki was Tyler's wife best friend and as time has passed they have grown closer to each other. As more evidence is uncovered the more it looks like Tyler and his family are in danger and the their only lead is still on the run. 

 Will Nikki be able to find the missing woman before the bad guys find her? Also will she be able to protect the ones she loves, while trying to not reveal that she has fallen for Tyler?
his is the first book of this series I have read, it can be read as a stand alone. The writer grabs you from the first page and makes you to not want to put the book done till the end. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good suspense.

Freedom's Ring!!

Freedom's Ring by Heidi Chiavaroli This book was one of the best books that I have ever read, it grabbed my attention from the first page. It is written in two very different time periods that at the same time connect thru the struggles that face each of the female characters. We meet Annie David in 2015 and Liberty Caldwell in 1770, both living in Boston in two different time periods.  Still dealing with the aftermath of the Boston Masscare, Anne is struggling to find healing in her life. The guilt that weighs her down, over the injuries that her niece has suffered with from the bombing. When she learns the identity of the person who rescued her during the bombing, her life is turned upside down.
